Welcome to ME-OTO 2014

The 11th Annual Middle East Otolaryngology Conference and Exhibition opened today at Madinat Arena. The event continues on 21-22 April, and will attract more than 1,600 professionals working in the ENT and Audiology industry.

The Annual Middle East Otolaryngology Awards took place this morning; the awards were established to honour ENT physicians in the Middle East for their contribution to the field. The winners were:

  • Ingeborg and Erwin Hochmair Award for Service to the Deaf

  • 'Arab Health' Personal and Professional Achievement Award

  • 'Karl Storz' Award for Excellence in Teaching
